Welcome to Fat Man Fit
Many of us bigger guys love food (and drink). Attending Weight Watchers has taught me about what is right to eat (and what is not right) and the huge role that exercise can play in keeping you reasonably trim. I also found that publishing my targets (and my results) on the web kept me focussed and in an April 2005 charity bike ride raised over $12,000 for the Red Cross Tsunami appeal.
I also found that when I had completed the ride, I lost motivation and needed something to keep me going. So the idea of Fat Man Fit was borne....
The idea will be for myself and similar larger men around the world to publish their challenges/targets/stories here, so if anyone would like to set up their own personal page on www.fatmanfit.com please use the contact pages and we will respond.
There are only two conditions - you need to be fat (or at least a teeny bit overweight - which means a BMI of at least 25) and you need to be serious about getting fitter.
